The 'Notify Me' option lets you set people up to receive automatic email notifications X hours or days before each event or with all changes to that schedule. So, you can now set your coaches up to receive notifications for just their schedules. You can set up custodians to receive notifications to any events that use the gyms, media can be set up to receive automatic notifications for any schedules, etc.

There is no limit to the number of people that can be set up. They can also set themselves up from the school calendar (public view).
