If you have a recurring event, Activity Scheduler makes it easy for you to schedule this kind of event. You can choose different combinations of Date/Time/ Location
Click Add recurring event to start.
Except for setting the Date, follow the process defined in Add event in adding a recurrent event. Fill out the different fields: select Activity, set the Time, Bus Time, and Location. Enter Public Comments, select Contact name, and Add an Attachment if applicable. Activity and Date are the required fields, the rest are optional.
Tick off Record Edit History After Publishing if you wish to record the changes made to this activity after it is published. Setting the dates Click on the dates in the calendar the activity will take place. Tip: You can Or, you can also click the corresponding letter day of the week to select all the dates that fall under that particular day for the entire month. For example if you want your activity to be scheduled every Monday, you can click on M to select all the Mondays of that month. Procedure is the same if you want deselect the whole set of dates. Then, click on Add to queue to save this combination of dates/locations/time. Then you can Clear Dates and select a different time, date(s) and location(s) and Add to Queue again. Once you’re done adding entries, click on Save & Exit to save. To remove a set of dates from the queue, select the set of dates and click Remove selected. Facilities Schedulers User If your Activities Scheduler is linked to your Facilities Scheduler, you will have additional fields in Add event or Add recurring event page but are all optional. 1. Enter Set-Up Starts and Tear Down Ends times. 2. If you are entering a recurring event, check off Each Date if you want the Set-Up Starts and Tear Down Ends times to apply to all dates. If you want to apply it to first and last date, check off 1st & Last. 3. Check off Show Set-Up and Tear Down times on the public calendar if you want to display the said times on your school calendar. 4. If you have some reminders or instructions to Facilities staff, enter them in Set-Up notes box.
On the main School Only Events page, recurring events have (recurring) text attached to its activity name so you can easily point this type of events.
