Your Calendar uses the Activity, Location and Contact Name databases. The Preferences Tab (or Set-Up) allows you to �build' a database of activities, locations, etc. The advantage of this is that once you have typed 'Prom Committee Meeting' once, you will never have to type it again, merely choose it from the pulldown. Not only is this more convenient but it also provides a standard way of addressing all events that take place in your school. This provides a higher level of understanding within your school community.

 

The real advantage is for folks who like to keep their hands on the keys and not move between the mouse and the keyboard. You can tab between fields and make selections by typing the first letter of the name you want. If there are multiple listings that begin with that letter, repeatedly hitting that key will toggle through all the listings of that letter.

NOTE: You can also access this screen via the Set-Up button. (see School Only Set-Ups)

1) Click here to edit your activities.

2) Click here to edit your contacts.

3) Click here to edit your locations.

4) Click here to edit your 'excluded dates'.

Once you've entered the Edit area, you can change your selection (Activity/Contacts/Location) from the pulldown menu
