This is a time-saving feature. When you schedule a new season, you can 'use' schedules you have already made to avoid having to input all the data again. For example, if you scheduled a Varsity season, you can copy this season and, only by changing the Level, you can use the rest of the info for JV.
To start copying a Schedule, click Copy next to the selected season.
On the following page, you can change the settings of the season you are copying.
1. Select a new season, if necessary.
2. Change the Activity, Gender and/or Level, if necessary.
3. You have now the option to offset the new schedule time by any hours and minutes before or after the schedule being copied. Or, you can leave them as 'TBD' (you can always modify them once inside the season).
4. You have not the option to offset the new schedule by any number of days before or after the schedule being copied.
NOTE: This is particulary useful when, for instance, your JV team plays 2-3 days before the Varsity team. Or, you can also set the copy to be 365 days after so that you have all the correct dates for next year already in place as you change the season when making the copy.
5. You can Swap home location with away and copy the Comments.
6. You can copy the Comments.
7. You can copy the Original event or you can also copy the Current version.
8. Save & Exit to save the changes. Or, Save & Continue to proceed. To cancel an return to the previous page, click Back.
NOTE (1): The Maximum Number of events per Year will be defaulted to the amount of events of the season you are copying. (You can change this by editing your new season)
NOTE (2): Even when you copy a season that does not belong to you (you are not the 'owner'), you automatically become the owner of the new season.
Swap home location with away:
If you ticked Yes for this option, you will receive the following message in a pop-up window. Click OK if you want to continue.
If you swap the season's Home/Host and Away/Opponent and it has event(s) with multiple away schools, the Activity Scheduler will leave the Home/Host empty for the particular event(s) with multiple Away/Opponent schools. You can then edit that particular event(s) to add the Home/Host afterwards, on the following page.
Click OK to proceed.
On the following page is the schedule's list of events.
1. You can click the Edit of the event you want to edit.
2. You can Delete event(s) from the list checking its Delete box, then click on Delete Selected.
3. You can also add more events to this season by filling out the necessary fields at the bottom of the page.
4. To show this on public calendar, tick Yes of Publish Now for Public Viewing.
5. If you have added some events to the list, click Save & Add Another to save the entry and continue adding more events. Or, click Save & Exit to save the entry and return to the Seasons queue. Click << Back to return to the Seasons queue
