Mobile Pro - New Message Center

Mobile Pro PLUS is the advanced Message Center for the rSchool Mobile Pro app.  “Pro PLUS” offers secure, AUDITED group messaging and direct messaging for Coaches and Athletic Directors to message students, parents, and other coaches.
The Mobile Pro Plus includes the following features:
  • Fully Secure, audited/recorded Message History
  • Group Messaging to Parents, Students or Coaches 
  • Direct messaging via In-App and Phone Notifications
  • Filter Group Messaging by Activity
  • All Group and Direct Messaging is Recorded
  • Parents, Students, & Coaches can respond to Direct Messages 
  • 2-Factor Authentication for total Security
  • Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or Email Authentication
  • Search Function in Direct Messaging
  • Turn On/Off the In-App Notifications

Public View
Parents or Students can now receive important announcements and messages from the AD or Coaches in Mobile Pro.   Parents and students must verify their identity the very first time before being allowed into Messaging.  This security measure allows AD’s and coaches to have confidence that they are communicating only with parents, students, and coaches.  

If a parent or student is not authenticated yet in the app, they will still receive email of the message if their email is on file (see below).


Note: Fans and other community members cannot “Sign Up” to be part of the Message Center.  Communicate must be verified before they can use the message center.  In your Mobile Pro app, Parents and students can tap on the Message Center Tab from either Menu, below.


Who Shows in the Message Center?
Coaches - Coaches entered into the Coaches Area can receive messaging.
  
Parents and Students – Parents/Students that you want to communicate with MUST be added in the “Student Info and Eligibility” area of Activity Scheduler to receive messages from Pro PLUS.  This is what connects the correct parent to the correct student and activities.  Email address is the only required field – you don’t need to track mobile phone.



How do I get parents and students into the system?
There are several ways to get students and parents into the system without manually adding them:
1)    Integrate your Activity Scheduler to your school’s Student Info System
2)    Add rSchool Activity Registration

Can I message Fans and the Community too?
No, but we will consider adding this to a future release if enough AD’s want it.

To get started, log in to your Mobile Pro app, and from the Admin menu (in black), go to the Message Center.
